Matthew Atherton

Matthew Atherton joined Convergence Accounting as an Intern in 2024. He graduated from Central Methodist University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business in 2025 and is now pursuing his Master’s Degree in Accounting from Southern New Hampshire University.  Matthew joined Convergence as a Staff Accountant in the summer of 2025.

He looks forward to supporting individuals and businesses through his educational and workplace experience. Matthew excels at assisting clients with their tax preparation and accounting needs and brings an analytical mind and eye for details to ensure accuracy and produce excellent outcomes.

When he isn’t in the office, Matthew enjoys reading books of every kind, playing the piano, and archery. He is fond of participating with friends and family in various sports and events.
