Mark Brooks

Mark Brooks joined Convergence Financial in 2025. He got his start in financial services at The Motley Fool, serving in a number of functions across the business during his nearly 15 years there. As General Manager, he was responsible for wealth management, asset management, and financial publishing. He moved to Columbia in 2019 to work in private equity, eventually serving as Chairman for 11 small to mid-size portfolio companies. He joins Convergence out of his passion for educating/helping and coming alongside people as they make major life decisions.

Mark met his wife, Brytt, while getting his degree in Business from Grove City College. His four children keep him plenty busy and he is present for every art exhibit, swim or gymnastics meet, and basketball game that he can be. Mark enjoys writing, frequently sharing what he’s learned about management, strategy, and culture on Twitter.
