Marc Neighbor

Marc Neighbor’s passion for investing began in high school, but he pursued other interests first. He obtained his BFA from Rhode Island School of Design in 1999 and started his own photography business. Marc also spent time educating others as a high school teacher at Lincoln College Preparatory Academy. His interest in investing and finance never faded, and in 2020 he passed his Series 7, making him a Financial Advisor. He began his career at Edward Jones, and he joined Convergence Financial in 2024. When it comes to his clients, he takes pride in taking everyone’s complex financial situation and creating specialized, comprehensive, and realistic financial strategies.

Marc Neighbor is a born and raised Kansas City native, having only left during his college years. He moved back to KC and four days later, met his wife, Melanie. Marc & Melanie have an adult child and an ornery Wirehaired Pointing Griffon. His hobbies include adding to his art collection, trying new foods and whiskey, spending time with friends and family, and volunteering in his community.

Outside of work, Marc loves to be involved with many outdoor activities. This includes racing gravel bikes, backpacking, snowboarding, water skiing, kayaking, hunting, fishing, and enjoying live music. He maintains many active memberships; one of these includes being a member of Heart of America Fly Fishers. As a board member of Cycling Kansas City, he coordinates events for cycling enthusiasts and charity. For volunteer work, he spends time with Junior Achievement of Greater Kansas City, where he helps with financial education. When he’s not in the Midwest, you can likely find him visiting Colorado and Northern Minnesota.
